The first of these visits was to a local baby orphanage which cares for around 50 babies from the age of 0 to 2years. As the orphanage looks after so many babies the staff are unable to spend quality time and care for each baby. With a shortage of funds there are no disposal nappies, bed linen & blankets also a shortage of cots for the 0 – 6month old babies. Our team bought & distributed nappies, blankets & food from the local stores and spent time cuddling & caring for the individual babies.
