New Projects In Kenya

A piece of land has been purchased on the outskirts of Nakuru, towards Naivasha by the pipeline. This site has been purchased for Eagles Wings first boy’s home. The boys Home will house 40 orphans or former street kids who are in desperate need of help and need to be rescued to a safe place.

There large wooden chicken coops have been built on the site to house three thousand chickens, which will in the future cover the full running costs of the home.

“The boys will look after the chickens and the chickens will look after the boys!”

The land has been fenced off and a group of Eagles Wings sponsors went to see the site.

As part of their commitment to Kenya and their work amongst children in Elburgon and Nakuru, Bruce & Sharon Oliver of Eagles Wings planted a Mango tree & an avocado tree at the boundary of the new property.

Eagles Wings is rising finance for the boys home which will cost around £15,000 plus the purchase of 3000 chickens at 50 pence each (total £1500)

A Bore hole for fresh water has been drilled already on site which will further minimise running costs.
